Camp Policies & Documents

Please read all policies before registering. These protect your child and set clear expectations for camp week.

  • Drop-off begins at 8:50 AM. Camp programming begins at 9:00 AM. Pickup is between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM.

Late Pickup Fee: $1.00 per minute per child beginning at 12:15 PM. This fee is non-negotiable and collected at pickup via card reader before the child is released.

ID Requirement: A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for every pickup, every day. Only individuals listed as authorized pickup persons on your enrollment waiver may pick up your child. If someone not on your list arrives, your child will not be released and you will be contacted immediately.

If you need to update your authorized pickup list after registration, contact us at hello@busybeeplaycafe.com at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Busy Bee Play Cafe is a 100% nut-free facility. No peanuts, tree nuts, or products containing nut ingredients or nut traces are permitted on the premises at any time. This includes snacks or lunches brought from home.

All camp snacks provided by BBPC are nut-free and label-verified. Parents are required to disclose all known food, environmental, and medication allergies on the enrollment form. BBPC takes all reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

If your child has a severe allergy requiring an EpiPen or other prescribed medication, it must be provided in a labeled bag on the first day of camp with written instructions. Staff will not administer prescription medication without this documentation on file.

  • All campers are expected to follow staff instructions and treat other children and staff with respect. BBPC staff use a 3-step behavior redirection process: verbal redirect → warning with consequence → calm-down break.

The following behaviors may result in immediate removal from camp without refund: physical aggression toward other children or staff, intentional destruction of property, repeated non-compliance after warnings, or any behavior that poses a safety risk to others.

Parents will be contacted for any significant behavioral incident. Repeated incidents may result in permanent dismissal. BBPC staff have final authority on dismissal decisions. No refunds are issued for dismissal from camp.

  • Busy Bee Play Cafe may photograph and/or video record campers during camp activities for use in social media, marketing, and promotional content. Parents choose their photo consent preference during registration.

If you select "No" on the photo consent form, your child will never appear in any published BBPC content. Staff are instructed to exclude opt-out campers from all filming and photography.

If you wish to change your consent preference after registration, contact us at hello@busybeeplaycafe.com before the first day of camp.

  • To protect the health of all campers and staff, children must not attend camp if they exhibit any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: fever of 100.4°F or higher, vomiting or diarrhea, conjunctivitis (pink eye), or symptoms consistent with a contagious illness.

If a child develops symptoms during camp, parents will be contacted immediately and must arrange pickup within 30 minutes. The child may not return to camp until symptom-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.

BBPC reserves the right to exclude any child whose presence may pose a health risk to other campers or staff.
